I was born in Rome and brought up there. I studied graphic design at the Accademia of Art and later worked in Paris. After getting married to an Englishman, whom I met in Rome, we moved to Edinburgh for his linguistic studies. There I exhibited in art galleries hand-painted furniture and objets d’art with exclusive designs.
In 1990 we moved to Oxford, where I completed my studies with the Open University and was awarded a degree of Bachelor of Arts with a diploma in European Humanities. In the meantime, I became a member of the Oxfordshire Craft Guild and also joined the Ashmolean Museum as a Gallery Lecturer. I very much enjoy taking people round this inspiring art collection, which enriches my own artistic life.
