Lucy is a fine artist based in Oxfordshire, working in oil, acrylic and mixed media. She paints landscapes, seascapes and portraits, and is currently working on a collection of semi-abstract collages inspired by traditional Irish fishing boats.

She trained in Illustration at Harrow Art School & Central Saint Martins, and created work for clients such as Cosmopolitan, Time Out and Sky TV before moving into fine art.

Much of Lucy's work is inspired the South West Coast of Ireland. Her mother was Irish, and she has spent every summer in West Cork since she was a child: messing around on boats and watching the local fishermen’s comings and goings with the ever changing colours of sea and sky. Vibrant colour is the unifying thread throughout her work.
