I’m an Oxford based visual multimedia artist and poet. I will be exhibiting my animal based work with the South Oxford Art group.
I Studied BA in Fine art for drawing through Bath university, and moved to Oxford 4 years ago where I pursued my passion and love for art within the local community.
I’ve taken part in Arts weeks 2023 within the City centre Wesley Memorial Church. Had Sculptural work shown in the Procreate international arts project, held on the data base. Works are made by mothers to raise feminist issues within the industry. Featured an illustration within YWMP Oxford's 2024 calendar. This charity describes its self as feminism in action. And holds a safe space to create music. Exhibited as part of a life drawing group at the Common ground Oxford. I'm part of Ovada associates and held a community workshop for children last year. Amongst other smaller personal selling projects and community poetry performances.
I am about to be published in a Oxford Poetry library zine.
Large amounts of my works are inspired my expressionism. Raw, unapologetic brushstrokes and colours. Distorting forms to arouse an emotional response in the viewer. Linked to spiritualism of my ancestors, and paganism. Touching on Nature and nurture themes. Motherhood. And everyday aspects of life experiences/phases, through a female perspective.
