Following a Textile Degree at Loughborough and teaching Art and Design for 38 years, I am now embarking on my own journey of exploration and experimentation. Using a wide variety of media I am enjoying the time to reflect and develop my work under the broad title of the environment. Joining the Chacombe group of artists a number of years ago led to my discovery of the Kings Sutton Collective and both these groups have been instrumental in the pursuit of my own artistic vocabulary and I am delighted to share my journey with this wonderful group of artists. I love to immerse myself in the world of colour and pattern and am drawn to create texture - probably my textiles background. My work varies greatly in style but it's always these three elements which bring it together.
