Artist information
This year, I am exhibiting as part of a large group of artists in Bicester, Sheep Street. I am presenting an eclectic art selection, from seascape through to Still Life and human subject. I tend to paint subjects that attract my attention, whether it is related to the balance of colours, the composition or the theme.
I am French and have lived in Oxfordshire for over 30 years. I started crafting and drawing with my daughters when they were growing up. In 2018, I set up a website and joined the Bicester Art Network, which was a newly created group of enthusiastic local artists. I started taking part in exhibitions and craft fairs and selling my art.
Although I first created my art using watercolour, acrylic and collage, I now almost exclusively use technical technology, designing on my iPad using a couple of Apps. I usually work from pictures which appeal to me, whether they are from holiday escapes or flowers on a table, a personal experience or inspiration from a movie⦠I draw and paint from scratch, using my iPad, as others would on a blank canvas. I challenge myself painting various themes and playing with colours and shades. I am self-taught and love challenging myself with new styles.
