Exhibition information

My hats are created entirely by hand using traditional couture millinery techniques which require precise attention to detail. I work predominantly in natural fibres such as felt, straw and silk using wire and buckram to create structures. They are embellished with beading, ribbon work and feathers. This year’s collection is inspired by the theme “Causes Célèbres”. 

Artist information

 My City and Guilds millinery training enabled me to gain skills and experience of a wide range of millinery techniques. I am a member of Church Lane Gallery, Banbury where I exhibit all year round. I exhibited in the London Hat Week Great Exhibition in 2019 and 2020, this will be my 4th year exhibiting at Wise Investment in Chipping Norton during Oxfordshire Artweeks and I had three pieces in the Heseltine Gallery Open Exhibition in November/December 2025.
