My garden studio will be open every day from 11-6 during Jericho Artweeks. This is where I work and I will be demonstrating how I use my materials to make unique pieces of kilnformed glass.
I first discovered glass on and Art Foundation course and was immediately hooked. I spent 3 years after that studying glass in London and gradually developed my very individual way of working with kilnformed glass.
The two strongest influences on my designs are the natural world and my fascination with pattern and I'm at my happiest when I've been able to amalgamate these threads successfully.
I use a combination of metals in the form of leaf, foil and wire which is layered with glass and heated in the kiln to produce a soft palette of rich yet subtle colours
