In my first Artweeks exhibition I will be displaying a broad range of work created over the last four years, including: paintings, drawings and prints. I am also planning to include some of my music production intended to complement the work on display. Printed cards will be available to purchase alongside other merchandise.
The exhibition will be held at Mill Street Arts, Eynsham - a new art hub for the community set up by the artist and tutor Alice Walker who will also be exhibiting in the same space.

I work in a variety of media including: oil pastel, graphite, charcoal, ink, watercolour and acrylic paint. Often I begin with small-scale experimental studies and am interested in pushing materials to their limits and how different materials react and respond to each other. I allow chance and intuition throughout much of my process and believe this enables a sense of freedom and expression. My work tends to go through many stages of evolution. There is a definite link between the music I listen to and create and my work, particularly in the subtle layers of sounds, texture, and rhythm but also moments of silence and space. I also draw inspiration from films, literature and poetry - where a single line can become a catalyst for a piece.
My MA tutor once said to me that my work was 'all about light'; I'm beginning to see this more and more.
