Gypsy Barn is down a gravel lane off Alchester Road in Chesterton.
We are a group of three artists who will be displaying our work in studios and gazebos. We will also be offering refreshments: tea, coffee, soft drinks and cake. We can take card and cash.
There are no toilet facilities on site but the Red Cow pub down the road offers a wider range of food and drink along with toilets.
I work with silver clay which enables me to make jewellery from the things I find around me in the countryside. I love to walk, and I am often taken with the beauty of the living art I see around me. By collecting leaves, twigs, flowers and shells, I have built a collection of moulds from which I cast the silver.
Working from my studio at home enables me the freedom to work whenever the mood takes me. I love experimenting with the pieces that nature delivers and also getting inspiration for new ideas.
Sometimes I go off grid and just fancy having a go at something completely different ... these episodes are not always successful, but often lead to something that is.
