My paintings evoke a sense of space, light and stillness.
I mostly work from the landscape trying to capture those fleeing moments of ever-changing light. Depth and translucency is created by gradually building up thin layers of paint in colours that are soft and subtle.

I am constantly drawn to the wide open spaces of mountains and coastlines and a recent visit to Morocco has inspired me to develop new ideas which I am in process of developing.

I have exhibited widely and have work in permanent and private collections.
