I produce decorative and functional pieces, both wheel thrown, and hand built.
I enjoy experimenting with form, pattern, and colour. I use a technique of paper resist, where hand-cut paper shapes are applied to the pot before glazing. Each piece is individual and I tend not to plan how to decorate a piece until it is in front of me. I like the spontaneity of working out a design to fit the form.
