Artist information
Since those first colouring books and strips of plastercine, I’ve always had a passion for art and making. Paper mâché jewellery beads and clay sculpted shells formed part of my school art career but for a while it stopped there.
During a career break when my eldest was born I learnt to capture his tiny fingerprint in silver. My love of making was reignited.
This past year I have been experimenting with stone setting, after finding inspiration from my childhood collection of semi-precious stones.
Along with my love for the coast, whether that’s Cornwall where I grew up or Australia which I’ve been very fortunate to explore, my love of beach combing also features near top of my inspiration list.
Exhibition information
This year I will be exhibiting with the Bicester Art Network from the 16th - 26th May. Alongside 25+ talented artists.
