Artist information

Unable to escape my lifelong fascination for colour and dreams, I collect dream impressions as narratives for paintings.
My practice attempts to articulate with art what is hidden in the mind by creating out-of-the-ordinary paintings similar to those of surrealism.

Born in Mexico and always torn between logic and creativity, I found myself in the UK after being awarded a scholarship to study for a PhD in Computer Science.
Upon completing my PhD, by a turn in fortune, I ended up working in the art sector; there, I had insights into the significance and power of art and decided to steer my career towards it.

After moving to Oxford, I completed my MFA in Fine Arts studies, where I established the theoretical framework supporting my artwork.
