By the time May comes I hope to have accumulated a wide selection of large and small pieces of my work. There will be abstracted landscapes, moody abstractions and celebrations of colour. Lockdown has dulled my creativity so I am hoping to spring into a new phase of energy and spirit to convey optimism and celebration.
I hope to be exhibiting in the Open Exhibition at the Heseltine Gallery during Artweeks.
I am cheerfully in the category of mature, very mature, ladies who paint. When we meet you are to say you should say "How old?". Having completed a Foundation Course at Brighton in the '70s I returned to my practice only a few years ago. It has been an exciting revelation of the fact it is never too late.
