My name is Sarah Jane Hearfield and I am a Textile Designer and Illustrator. Originally from Stirling, Scotland, I live in Kidlington, Oxfordshire. I have a Bachelors of Art in Textile Design from Glasgow School of Art, Scotland and a Masters of Teaching in Art Education from Wayne State University, Detroit MI. I currently teach art at secondary school, as well as working freelance as a graphic designer and illustrator.

I love the colours and patterns you find in nature and I have a kind of obsession with our feathered friends. My most recent work features drawings and paintings of plants and animals that I have developed into a range of home textiles. My range includes aprons, tea towels and cushion covers.
