I shall be exhibiting my art and demonstrating my wire work in Great Coxwell village this year for Oxfordshire Artweeks May 4-12th.
You will also be able to find my work in the Tourist Information Centre in Faringdon for the month of March 2024 where I am Artist of the Month
I am also hoping to be exhibting at the Faringdon Art Society Craft Fairs in Aug and December (dates yet to be confirmed).
I enjoy many forms of art including painting and sculpture. Having discovered the joys and medium of digital painting - which is cleaner and requires little in the way of equipment- I have almost put down my brushes and have become a devotee. Still starting with that blank canvas I love to paint animals and birds as you will see and I also work in wire sculpting creatures. I am amazed at how one small piece of wire can be transformed into a representation of a 3D object with a little patience and imagination. I have also begun working in thin tin or aluminium sheet to create embossed sculptures - mainly small or large shoals of fish. Having been an exhibiting member of Oxfordshire Artweeks 6 years now it is always a fantastic experience and I am looking forward to 2024
