My studio will be open with original recent work, including a book of walks local to Chipping Norton done in Lockdown and a couple of drypoint etchings, using drinks cartons as plates to print from. There will be work in progress to see, done at FarmED, a centre for regenerative and wildlife friendly farming local to Chipping Norton. This work is for an exhibition next year showing the farm through a year. Some of my work - see Artweeks online site for details - named 'Glyme Lane Project' is on show at FarmED during Artweeks. My work is part of a group project.
I have become increasingly inspired by working locally to Chipping Norton and painting outside. I have spent much of the last few months sitting in fields and woodland observing the small changes as Autumn changes to winter and now winter to spring. I work in mixed media, often acrylic and recently watercolour.
Also available : cards, Giclee prints, artist's books and cups of tea. Everyone is welcome and do bring children.
My exhibition is open from May 21st - 27th from 11-6 but do contact me to make an appointment at another time. email: judithyarrowathotmail.com
I have been exhibiting most years with Oxfordshire Artweeks since 2022. I've lived in Chipping Norton for 33 years . I paint wild places - mountains, islands and coasts but recently Lockdown has meant looking locally for inspiration. Close up detail and wide horizons, experimenting with media, bookmaking and printmaking. I have a tabletop etching press.
