I classify myself as a social documentary photographer that occasionally goes off piste, I mostly work in black and white but the need for colour especially in our current circumstances got stronger and stronger. This collection of still life is full of personal objects we have collected from around the world, some old some new but all treasured in their own way. The glass figure in Beach is from the 1930/40's period and made in Murano, the couples figures were made by a craftsman in Zimbabwe who had travel to Cape Town and sell them there so he could feed his family back home. They are all being framed in bright colours that compliment the image. Each image is an edition of 9, size when framed is approx. 32 cm x 25 cm. £75 excluding postage and packing, available from July.
