Four years ago I moved to Oxford. When I was living in Birmingham I exhibited at The Royal Society of Birmingham Artists, had a one-woman exhibition at Birmingham Botanical Gardens, exhibited at The Coachouse Gallery, University of Birmingham and had exhibitions in my own Coachouse Studio. I have entered two Oxford Art Weeks 2015 & 2016 and have exhibited at Oxford Art Society. I will have a small display of work achieved at The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts.
I have always painted but started to paint full time when I came to Oxford four years ago. I studied for a BA in Humanities in Creative Arts at Birmingham University, attained a Post-graduate diploma in History of Art and an MPhil. at The Barber Institute of Fine Arts, Birmingham University, my Thesis being on the evolution of the drawings for the New Sacristy, San Lorenzo by Michelangelo. I taught History of Art as a Visiting Lecturer at Birmingham City University. Later I taught in my own studio using my knowledge of history of art, a model and drawing sessions.
