I have been painting for the last few years, mostly in acrylic. I get my inspiration from the world around me - gardens, flowers, trees, skies and rural landscapes. I also start the painting journey from classes I do and videos I've seen.
My latest paintings were inspired by an October holiday in Tenby, West Wales, watching the storm clouds gather and progress across the sea and land, with a feeling of impending turbulence.
Following the ideas of 'Point, Line and Plane, from Wassily Kandinsky, led me to paint 4 space themed pictures exploring the effects of tone and colour in giving an illusion of space and depth. I hope you enjoy them.
