I’m currently working on paintings inspired by Chinese ink painting, creating abstract works.
I’m also looking into natural forms like plants, fruit and animals, which is a long term leisure project of mine. So as you can tell my interests are varied. How many ways can you express colour and form? This is my approach in learning varied techniques and genres.
I've recently been accepted by Reading University to train to become an art teacher so watch out for future Artsweeks when I will be fully qualified to give workshops to teens.
Products available to purchase are original paintings, original prints, pillows, and scarves.
I'm currently moving into a smaller house for my studies so there will be a large discount on certain pieces of work to free up much needed space. Hope to meet you at the exhibition :)
I create illustration and textiles prints. I am currently moving my textile work into more sustainable projects such as upcycling and creative mending, and turning my fabric prints into products such as pillows and bags.
My main inspiration is Asia and the varied distinct cultures that reside there, based on my heritage. My preferred mediums include: ink painting, screenprinting, monoprinting. I enjoy learning new skills such as embroidery which I hope to continue in the future with the Royal School of Needlework.
