Rationing, shortages of basic materials, growing your own food, enjoying fresh air, making time for exercise were all déjà, in 2020, this last Covid year. As a child growing up at the end of the war these conditions were the way of life.
This unprecedented year has made us notice or revisit these conditions and perhaps made us appreciate what we have taken for granted. Every year, the miracle of nature, the drama of the seasons, happens. Experiencing and recording what I have seen, loosing myself in drawing and painting, being creative has been a life line, contributing so much to my wellbeing.
