I was born in Rome, where I studied poster art and graphic design. I have been working in the UK for the last 40 years. First, in Edinburgh, where I exhibited hand-painted furniture and objects d'art with classic compositions. In 1994 I moved to Oxford and joined the Ashmolean Museum as a Gallery lecturer, and I also became a member of the OCG. Since then I have introduced into my work compositions using coloured veneer inlays to create a decorative effect following traditional figurative art. Many of my works have been commissioned for special occasions and cherished as collectors' pieces in Europe and overseas. My graphic design background enhances an appreciation of harmony and symmetry in the designs I create.
