Faces, Figures and Fizz

I am a multi-disciplined contemporary painter based in Oxfordshire who favours a bold, expressive and vibrant colour palette. I am particularly drawn to painting the human form and all its diversity.

I returned to my love of art in 2018 after a career in the financial industry, taking a foundation course in Art, Design and Media at Bucks New University. Following this, an opportunity came up to rent a studio in the beautiful Chilterns area, along with five other incredible artists. We collectively are the Artists at Turville Studios.

With my new space I took the opportunity to experiment with lots of different styles and media and although I still continue to do so I find that I tend to always come back to acrylics which lend themselves beautifully to my style of painting.

I love faces and figures and like to represent them in a contemporary and expressive way. I am also partial to champagne and this also features a lot in my artwork!

I have featured in the House & Gardens art edit and the Artists at Turville Studios have been featured in both Country Living and Henley Life magazines.
