Working from my studio in Woodstock my work is concerned with issues of memory, preservation and archiving, using traditional methods of preservation in unconventional ways. The original objects are ultimately altered/defaced but become precious again in their own right, metamorphosing into something new. Recently I have started experimenting with stitch on old postcards and photographs exploring colour, texture and storytelling.
