Join us as we open the Sylva Wood School and Wood Centre again to visitors in May 2025

With open workshops, demonstrations, and talks over weekend, take the opportunity to talk to more than a dozen skilled craftspeople about their work making with wood.

The Sylva Wood School will also open its doors, for visitors to meet our tutors and students, and learn about a range of short and long woodworking courses on offer.

The House of Wessex – an Anglo-Saxon reconstructed house – will be open with the living history society Wulfheodenas demonstrating various crafts including weaving and metal work.
