I am a landscape and seascape painter and my preferred medium is oils. I am looking forward to opening my studio in Little Wittenham and will be showing paintings of Oxfordshire landscapes, especially Wittenham Clumps, the Thames (including the new Earth Trust river of life wetlands and Thrupp Lake), views from the Chilterns and the Ridgeway and nature reserves throughout the county. I spend much of my year in North Wales and will also be showing some of my paintings from Snowdonia and the west coast. I have been enjoying creating large charcoal studies of trees and plants and also large oil paintings of teasels, comfrey, thistles and cardoons and other structural plants. Alongside the studio is a garden full of wildflowers, shady trees and ponds and visitors enjoy relaxing here with a cup of tea and cake. There is also another ‘Artweeks’ venue a two minute walk through the back gate and wonderful walks to the Thames and around Wittenham Clumps so lots to do.
Enter through my front gate on the main road below the red telephone box, duck under the arch and follow the path to the two spacious studios. Alternatively, enter through the back gate next to the Clumps Orchard venue car park.
