We return for our regular one-day-only exhibition showcasing the beauty and balance of Japanese flower arrangements (ikebana). The theme this year is ikebana inspired by paintings – with paintings chosen by the individual ikebana artists for their colour, shapes, silhouettes or for the memories the painting evokes which is then translated into an arrangement. Takashi Sawano will also be displaying his Japanese ink paintings (sumi-e) alongside the arrangements.
