I am an illustrator and artist. I will be exhibiting some of my recent work of pen and ink illustrations of Oxford, featuring a cast of fictional characters which gives them a magical theme. I will also have a selection of other illustrations of animals and local interest landscapes and maps etc.

I started making ceramic artworks at the start of 2023 and this is something I continue to do at City of Oxford College, and I hope by the time Artweeks starts I will have my own small kiln so that I can make and fire my illustrated ceramics at home.

During Artweeks 2025, I will be exhibiting my pen and ink illustrations and ceramics in my art shed. You may catch me decorating some of my ceramic items in my sgraffito style when I am there.

I am planning to do mini workshops during the opening hours listed. For a small fee, there will be the chance to have a go at making a drawing using a dip pen and ink. If I have my kiln up and running, then I would like to do a small ceramic workshop using one of the techniques I use for illustrating on clay, which I would fire at a later date. I will post more details of these nearer the time. The workshops will be a drop-in feature, subject to availability as long as there are not too many people at a time and materials have not run out.

I will have items for sale: prints and cards of my illustrations, printed homewares such as coasters and magnetic bookmarks featuring my illustrations, along with illustrated ceramics. There will also be refreshments on offer.



I also love to sketch, both in situ sketching and sketchbook journaling which includes maps, collage, illustration, writing and scrapbooking. I will also have a selection of my sketchbook journals to view.
