I'm Julian March - ever since I did ceramics for Art A-Level (way back in the day), I've loved ceramics and pottery. Having reached my ripe old age after a corporate career in news & media, I've come back to one of my creative passions.
I throw all kinds of pottery on the wheel - everything from plates to jugs, with bowls and even teapots in between.
I love the idea that we can make beautiful, life-affirming objects out of mud. Pieces can form a set, yet they're all different, and each have their foibles,
just like us humans. Perfectly imperfect, or imperfectly perfect, whichever way you want to look at it.
