Three artist share this space for their work using various mediums stone, clay, silver, gold, gems, canvas, oil paint, graphite and paper.

Jane Crane, abstracting painter and stone carver, takes her inspiration from the land and seascape of places she has lived and visited.
Having trained in Fine Art at Reading University and taught in schools in Norwich in the mid 70s and 80s, Jane retired in the early 2010s and resumed her painting and experimented in other mediums, lately taking on the challenge of 3D in stone and figurative in line and clay.
The balance of colour, line and emotion in her paintings, and the balance of line, emotion and shade in sculpture, is the challenge.

Patricia Freeman, silversmith, bespoke jeweller, stone carver and figurative clay sculptress, creating natural forms from natural elements.
Her professional life was mainly occupied in working silver into bespoke pieces which led her to beautifull modern pieces of jewellery. Following sculpting figures in clay Patricia has included carving in stone to her repertoire of reading nature and object in 3D.

Ashley Hanson, oil painter and teacher, is a contemporary colourist and landscape painter.
Whilst originally starting to train as an architect, a visit to a Howard Hodgkin exhibition was to change his direction to completing a Fine Art degree instead.
Journeys, places, books, music generate the ideas, providing catalyst and context, colour always excites.
Ashley runs workshops from Cornwall to Kent and zoom courses for artists in their own space, inspiring a freedom in technique and emotion balanced by control for cohesion when responding to the subject.
