Atmospheric watercolour paintings of Otmoor and the surrounding countryside. My inspiration comes from this flat, enigmatic landscape that is known for it’s wildlife and remoteness although it is only a short distance from the centre of Oxford city. I have lived at Oddington all of my life and have always been fascinated by the charm of Otmoor and the colours and moods which change with the season. I especially enjoy painting the sky reflected in pools and floodwater. I travel to Poland quite often and find it gives me more subject matter for interpretation. The landscape there is also open and flat quite reminiscent of Otmoor.
