Vibrant oil and watercolour paintings inspired by the dual wonders of nature and myth. Shown alongside other artists and a jeweller.

My art is inspired by the dual wonders of nature and myth. I have a deep reverence for both.

From the dawn time, we’ve relied on the natural world around us, and from the dawn of communication, we’ve been telling stories. Tales of legendary creatures, shapeshifting beings, talking trees and untameable beasts all reflect our need to escape into the magical ‘other’ of the natural and mythical world.

My art celebrates the everyday beauty of the nature and the mystery of myth – the nourishment we need to counter the difficulties of everyday existence.

Many of the creatures I paint have been spotted in Oxford - in parks or along the river.

I hope my art brings you joy, escapism and a little wonder.
