Workshop title
“Looking through the tangle and beauty of Nature”.
We will be creating close up, semi abstract images based upon the tangle of leaves, twigs, shrubs, trees and hedgerows.
Initially we will work outside at the studio, gathering information and some leaves to do some printing. This will then form the basis, to allow an opportunity to respond to the complexity and tangle of organic shapes and colours.
A range of fully demonstrated suitable techniques will be shown keeping in mind the subject matter.
Working with a limited palette, using ink and acrylic with graphite we will work on large pieces of paper that will then be torn up into shapes. These will then be collaged onto board leaving gaps which will create natural paths for connecting branches and twigs.
Suitable for all abilities with the emphasis on creativity and fun. All materials included, and refreshments provided but please bring a packed lunch.
