At home with the printmakers
Jill Smith and Patsy Jones have found that print making leads to more question than all other media put together.
It is much easier to show, for example, how a reduction print is made or why lettering is done backwards that to explain. Their venue at the museum is fine for showing finished work but they will be showing how lino cuts ar done and looking at a few other methods of printing.
This is by way of an experiment so don't expect a master class but more of relaxed chat over a cup of tea.
