Come and join us for this lovely festive workshop and learn how to make your own beautiful scented candle and twisted reed diffuser to give your home a traditional festive feel. You will make a Spiced Orange & Cinammon scented candle and a Christmas Spice twisted reed diffuser to take home on the day.

You will learn the process of how to make a container candle from start to finish with lots of useful information about where to source ingredients.

You will also learn how to choose the right container, wax, wicks and fragrance as well as how to wick the container, melt the wax and add the fragrance. You will see how to correctly pour the wax to ensure a smooth and professional looking finish.

Whilst your candle is setting, you will learn how to make your own festive scented reed diffuser in a beautiful glass jar with natural twisted reeds.

You can then refill your favourite candle and diffuser jars time and time again and not only save money but also save more containers from going into landfill.

Candle safety will also be covered as well as other aspects of candle making such as using coloured wax and adding petals and seeds.

Please wear old clothes or bring an apron!

Tea, coffee, cordial and stollen and mince pies will be provided but please feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks too.

There will be a selection of wooden blocks, textiles and paints available to buy at the end of the session for anyone who is interested in pursuing this hobby at home.
