New work for 2023. Penny has been busy over the last twelve months experimenting with different techniques and glazes. Her subtle colouring incorporated in her garden ceramics blend into the flora and fauna found in the garden. A limited pallet with some organic textures create interest in dark areas. In contrast her bold contemporary work brings warmth and a sense of fun and surprise. Penny says ' opening the kiln is a magical experience, you never know if the kiln gods are going to be kind! you just have to wait and see'.
