Janie has been combining throwing, building and hitting the clay, and experimenting with overlaying glazes. Her work is always inspired by our natural world and this exhibition will include works on the theme of 'Fissures' - revealing the cracks in our world.
Francesca works with recycled silver, making one-off pieces of jewellery inspired by things she has found or inherited. She hopes that her pieces might be shared between siblings/family/friends, worn by many and passed down in years to come, picking up marks and scratches along the way. Francesca also makes tiny silver spoons that sit well with Janie's salt pots.
