The current exhibition, 'Nature's Narratives', runs right through until the end of June and each sculptor has added their own narrative in a booklet available by the door to the garden. This explains the story behind their choice of subject - what inspired them to create it. These details can also be seen in the Flipbook attached here.
The exhibition will continue to be on show throughout June when we will be holding our 2nd 'Summer Music Festival' from 2-4pm on Saturday afternoons.
This will be followed by our 'Oxhibition' to tie in with the Sobell House Oxtrail round Oxford in July and August and
'The Five Senses' exhibition that will run from beginning September to mid November.
We then hold our annual 'Christmas/Winter' Exhibition going through to 2025.
The Turrill Sculpture Garden, reached through Summertown Library during Library hours, is a peaceful oasis where sculpture exhibitions are shown throughout the year. It is freely open to the public and the sculpture is on sale with a commission going to maintain the garden and promote the garden. You can go there to enjoy the artwork, relax, have a picnic or read quietly.
