I will be at two venues for Artweeks this year, from 18-21 May find me at the little Holy Cross Church in Shipton. Open daily from 10am to 5pm. Free entry and tea/cakes available if you're taking a stroll along the canal to find us.
My second venue is back at Spice Lounge Summertown for the third year. Always good company and with a varied group of artists we'll be open from 20th to 29th May open 11am to 6pm daily.
I will have prints, cards and a few small gift items if space allows. Look forward to seeing you!
I am inspired by the hills of Wales, the majestic Scottish Highlands and Islands, and colours of the Mediterranean. My love of the outdoors and the human connection with the wild motivates my painting; using whatever tools I can find to mark out undulations, colours, mood and the occasional pathway. My imagined landscape paintings are layered using collage, watercolour and cotton and the style is achieved not often by brushes but by using other found objects to tease and play to blend and lead colours. My seascapes are inspired by the Hebridean Islands and are achieved with many layers of watercolour paint. I am a regular exhibitor at events across the UK
