Ruta Manko's love of figurative arts comes from decades of posing as a life model for many celebrated artists, tutors, art schools and ateliers. Since finishing her art studies, she further absorbed education and inspiration by osmosis during the long hours of focus and stillness in studios.
After 20 years of being immersed in London art scene as a model, curator and art event organiser, she lives in Wallingford and enjoys sculpting her art modelling colleagues rather more than posing on the other side of the turntable or an easel.
