As a photographer I make architectural prints of iconic buildings in Oxford, Venice and other places in Europe and also Oxford & Cambridge Colleges.
As a potter I specialise in raku ceramics. You may have seen some of my work featured on The Great Pottery Throwdown this season.
I have decided to combine both of these passions into one exhibition for Artweeks this year, I hope you like my work and are able to come to the exhibition. I look forward to seeing you here!
I spent my career working as a professional photographer and then spent many years producing limited edition architectural prints prints for my website www.vaprints.co.uk
I first discovered making pots when I was at school and always said I would have my own studio space one day. I returned to making ceramics a few years ago. I have always been interested in working with raku, the firing in sawdust is so much fun and the results are very unpredictable but have a very distinctive look.
