The magic of a journey in Rajasthan. Visiting India for the first time last year, it's magnificent images and total experience were beyond anything I had dared to dream. A new world of light, sound, flavours and above all colour kept on giving day after day. My work is in watercolour or oils, acrylics or mixed media and is there to share with you a taste of this unexpected journey.
This year I'm delighted to be exhibiting at our venue in Woodstock Road Sites 140, 141 and 142 with two other artists whose beautiful work I have known for many years; Guen Palmer - jeweller, whose beautiful hand-crafted gems and pearls - are so graceful, feminine and stylish and Judith Gussin- textile artist, whose gloriously dyed silk scarves bring the colours of India straight into an Oxford city setting. We look forward to sharing our pleasures of creativity with you at the end of May.
I have been painting in Oxford for many years and range from watercolour and ink to the luscious pleasures of oils or brilliance of acrylics. For Artweeks I love the challenge of an entirely new theme each time to keep the inspiration fresh and challenging.
