A new and exciting group of artists, showing together for the first time in a fabulous village hall. Working in many different mediums, all in different styles, be it abstract, impressionistic or realistic, but with fun and a sense of humour. Come and be surprised. Really worth a visit, tea/coffee and homemade cakes on offer.
I make and design Contemporary Jewellery and Wall art. I love things that are modern, sleek and that you will not find easily elsewhere. Due to the nature of the materials, I use, none of the items I create will ever be the identical.
I was born and grew up in a seaside town in Denmark but later came to London to study Fashion. I am inspired by modern architecture and modernism. Nature is often depicted in my creations.
I create Wearable Art. Jewellery doesn’t have to be boring. I incorporate gold leaf and glitter into my concrete pendants and earrings. Glass seed beads into my felted merino wool necklaces. The concrete is very light weight and smooth to touch.
Growing up with large Rya rugs on the wall has left a lasting impression. I aim to bring wool back into our homes, it is a natural material that often goes to waste. It creates softness when hanging on the wall, is sound absorbent, helps with regulating moisture. I create statement pieces using the latch hook method. I often incorporate hand felted items, silk cocoons and other natural materials. I support independent small holders when buying wool or use wool that would otherwise have gone to landfill.
I work mainly with a natural colour palette, except for my felted jewellery, which is often abstract or bright. I make smaller pendants as well as large statement necklaces, alongside stud and dangle earrings.
