I am lucky enough to be exhibiting at two venues with brilliant arists, the newly formed South Oxon Arts (SouthOxArts <southoxarts@gmail.com> ), currently based at the South Oxford Community Centre, Hinksey Park, Venue 404.
I am also exhitibing as a member of the established Oxford Printmakers Coop (www.oxfordprintmakers.co.uk) at Venue 364.
South Oxon Arts has just been formed as a community based proffessionally led group of artists who lead workshops, exhibit and meet together to support each other. At this exhibition I will be exhibiting my festive lanterns and prints alongside many other artists local to the South Oxford Area.
The Printmakers Coop is full of inspirational artists also and has allowed me to experiment with my printmaking techniques, which will be on show.
All my many lives I have allowed myself to be creative regardless of whether being a professional environmental consultant, using art and drama to get the environmental message across in schools and colleges. Or as a resident of Grandpont, dressing my front street facing window to celebrate astronomical events such as Solstice and Equinoxes along with other festivals thoughtout the year. Recently I have been able to return to a more regular art practise which is very exciting and to be part of these amazing groups of Artists.
Below are some of the areas of art I work in:
Weaving, ceramics, interior design, garden and landscaping, visual arts, photography, graffiti, collage, sun prints, monoprinting, etching, litho and lino printing, drawing, jewellery, upcycling, paper art... and more!!
