I have over 13 years’ experience exhibiting and working as an artist locally and internationally. I have been an artist in residence in lots of spaces over the years and the nature of my work is about responding and recording the surroundings that inspire and inform my thinking. Through Painting and drawing I invite the audience to view the spaces with a different perspective. During my residencies I observe and gather as much visual information as possible then present my recordings within the space itself. I have exhibited in this format within a number of spaces including The Pitt Rivers museum, Oxford Botanic Garden, Pegasus Theatre Oxford, and Cornerstone. This exhibition showcases my own responses to Abingdon and its surrounding landscapes- exploring it's meaning to me as an artist through layered drawings and paintings
