Ken Messer is a renowned watercolour painter of Oxford, its colleges & surrounding landscape. His Cotswold paintings are in collections worldwide and his work has hung in the Royal Institute of Painters' watercolour exhibitions at the Mall Galleries. He won prizes in international Saunders "Artist in Watercolour" & Artist magazine watercolour competitions. Three publishers have printed his work.
The family of Ken Messer have asked us to tell you, very sadly, that he died suddenly on April 28th. He was widely known in the village and exhibited his paintings here for many years. As a much loved and respected person and a talented watercolour artist, he will be greatly missed. He had been working to prepare for this year’s Artweeks exhibition and so his family wish to show his work exactly as he had planned, from May 19th.
