Welcome! Please book on early as spaces are limited. This is a short, one-off workshop to give you an opportunity to try your hand at the art of fusing glass. The morning will start off with an introduction to the basic principles of glass fusing: - the glass used - materials that can be used between layers of glass - materials that can be used on the surface of glass - the finishes that can be achieved with different firing temperatures - how to cut glass safely. We will have plenty of samples available to show you. During the morning you will make two coasters, or one coaster and a wall panel, using the techniques learnt. Materials and firings included. We are the house that causes the blind bend in Marcham, so you can't miss us! There is parking in the drive for 4 vehicles, and there is alternative free, on street parking on Mill Road and North Street. Walking to the studio takes only minutes. At the Crown Pub, on the main A415, with the pub behind you turn left, towards Abingdon. The pavement becomes very narrow, at the end there is a small gate. Please go through the gate, all the way through the garden to the drive and the studio is in front of you. The driveway is on the Abingdon side of the house.
