Artweeks is about so much more than art. Its about the people too, and the fifteen artists and makers who welcome you to Adderbury every year have grown into a family. We love showing you our work, some of us will be demonstrating, all of us will be happy to chat if you want, and if you can’t find exactly what you need, most of us will happily accept a commission to make you the perfect item. We really do have something for everyone, traditional and abstract paintings, printmaking, jewellery, stone carving, quilts, bags, cushions, stained glass, greeting cards and stationery with unique designs.
The church itself has been described as “quite simply, one of the most wonderful parish churches in England”, with medieval carvings everywhere you look. Delicious homemade cakes and refreshments are served at the weekends by the church committee, and the artists themselves continue that during the week so whenever you visit you can be assured of a welcoming cup of tea if you wish. All refreshment takings go to support the church who welcome us so warmly.
