The work I am showing at St Michael’s Church uses a mixture of paper, paint print and stitch. The pieces for the home are vibrant and are made by patching and piecing fabrics and then embellishing with hand and /or machine stitch. In contrast, I sometimes create autobiographical work in the form of scrolls. These incorporate painted papers as well as fabrics. Print and stitch. The scrolls tell visual stories and are often a prompt for talks or workshops.
